Firstly, I love my food! It is essential and without it almost everything else is irrelevant, with the right food in your body everything else becomes possible.
My outlook for nutrition is simple; keep it natural.
If you recognise the food that you’re about to eat in relation to its source then the chances are it hasn’t been through many processes that could alter the nutritional quality. Therefore you are more likely going to be able to reap all the natural benefits that food has to offer and minimise any additives/ preservatives that could be detrimental to your health.
If you put ‘dirty’ fuel in your car, your engine would eventually pack up. Why put ‘dirty’ food in your body? The consequences could be far more severe…
A healthy body might be moulded in the gym but it is created in the kitchen.
I can put together an eating plan based on your individual preferences, nutritional requirements and levels of activity.
There’s no secret science involved here, just simple foods cooked in simple ways resulting in tasty satisfying meals.
If there’s a food you don’t like, I won’t include it in your plan. Likewise if there is something that you love I’ll find a way to accommodate it.
Eating healthily isn’t about starving yourself, depriving yourself or being so strict you develop a negative relationship with food, it’s all about compromise. There are nifty little tweaks you can make here and there to make seemingly unhealthy dishes healthy without sacrificing flavour.
