As a personal trainer I always look at improving the overall health of an individual. Physical health is largely influenced by the foods we eat and the exercises we do which in turn supports our mental health. The positive effects of eating the right foods and doing the right exercises are well documented.
Anyone who has completed a marathon, lost their target weight or reached a particular fitness goal will know the psychological impact this has… you feel great!
My aim is to fulfil as many elements of overall health as possible in accordance with your preferences and lifestyle. The two specific areas I can help with are fitness and nutrition.
Both are inextricably linked for a healthy lifestyle. To get the most out of your exercise you need to give your body the right ‘fuel’; to enhance the benefits of eating right you’d be advised to exercise.
A lot of clients I work with have the knowledge; they just lack the structure, time or motivation to put it into practice. Sometimes life gets in the way of the things we want to do and all it takes is someone outside of your ‘bubble’ to offer a fresh outlook and new plan of action to achieve your best. That’s where I come in.
Using a series of basic fitness tests and physical analysis along with a detailed ‘question and answer’ session I can determine your current state of health and assure that I pitch the next stage in the process at the right level.
