Frequently Asked Questions

How do I organise a training session with you?
Email me directly using the details from my ‘contact me’ page.

Can I just have a diet/ fitness plan?
Certainly. However with all plans I will need you to answer some questions either face to face or online so that the plan is tailored to your needs. Also if I’m providing you with a list of exercises I will need to spend a session with you to ensure you understand each exercise and can repeat it with correct form to minimise injury.

What facilities do you have?
I am insured to train clients at Fitness First (Cannock) so if you are a member I can offer you workouts here.
I also have a home gym with floor space and various options in terms of resistance exercises.
NOTE: I can only teach clients on a one-to-one basis at my home gym

Will it always be the same workout?
No. The body responds best when it has to adapt so I try to ensure each workout keeps it guessing. There will always be some repetition in order to directly correlate your progress from week to week; strength gains of a certain muscle group for example, but ultimately I want routines to be fun and unpredictable.

How often will I have to train?
This is entirely up to you based on your fitness levels, the time you have available and what you are aiming to achieve. We will decide this following the initial consultation.

Can you come to my house for a workout session?
Yes, within reason. If you have suitable space and live within a reasonable distance from me I can always bring the workout to you.

Do you provide group sessions?
Yes, depending on what you’re looking for I can cater for varying group sizes. The price would be more than a one-to-one session and would alter depending on the size of the group.

How much is a one to one training session?
One session of 45mins-1 hour costs £25.
I offer a block of 5 or 10 sessions at £100 and £200 respectively (which works out at a discounted £20 per time).

Can you train me and my friend at the same time?
Yes, certainly. This can often be more fun and offers healthy competition.
The cost is £30 per session or a block of 5 sessions for £125 (which works out at £25 per session).

How much is a diet/ fitness plan?
A diet or fitness plan is £100 each, or £200 for both.
They will be specifically tailored to your needs.

Can I just have a ‘Fitness and Health Evaluation’?
Yes. The fitness and health tests involve passive and active tests and take about 45 minutes to complete.
I will analyse the results and produce a document for you to keep showing your current state of health and fitness.
This two-fold service costs £50.
